The Catholic Church compiled the Bible and has faithfully preserved it for 2,000 years. We hear several Bible readings every time we attend Mass. As Catholics, we seek to study the entire Word of God, in context, and seek the correct interpretation through the help God has provided for us in our Pope and Bishops — the Magisterium or teaching authority, of Jesus’ One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
